How to Route Jobs from Author to QA

Overview

InfraWare 360 allows Admins to set automatic QA routing by several criteria. You may route all jobs or a fraction. You may set routing requirements based on:

• The dictating author.
• The transcriptionist to whom the job is routed.
• The document category or type. To avoid redundancy and confusion, we recommend that you choose a single routing criteria for Quality Analysis.

Admins may set automatic routing to QA based on who dictated the report by selecting QA Settings on the author settings page. Refer to KB226 for directions on creating Author. Author enrollment is required for this option.

Tasks

• Log into the IMC using your username and password.
• Navigate to the Administration tab, and select the Users sub-tab, find the Author and click their name. The User Settings page will appear.
• Navigate to Facility Roles, and select Author Settings.
• Under Workflow Settings, select QA Settings. This will open the QA Requirement for Author tab.

• Select who will be conducting the QA (a specific account user or a pool). If only a fraction of the jobs needs to be sent to QA, select the box beside Use QA Sampling and enter the appropriate fraction.

Press Save to commit this change to the platform.
