Automatically Route Jobs to QA For Leftover Placeholders

Summary

It is sometimes helpful for transcriptionists to be able to skip from one section of a report template to another.  The InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC) supports the use of Placeholders (jumps) for this purpose.  See KB94 for details.  By default jobs are not automatically routed to QA if Placeholders remain on the job when it is marked complete.  This article outlines the steps necessary to route jobs to QA based on existing Placeholders on marking a job as Complete in the ITC.

Requirements

• Administrator Username and Password in the IMC to set up Account Settings.
• ITC v6.1.13.9 or newer.

Steps

• Login to the InfraWare Management Console (IMC) using your IW Administrator username and password.
• Navigate to the Administration tab ⇒ Account Settings sub-tab.
• Scroll down to the Transcription section and find "Leftover Placeholders Route Job to QA."
• Check the box to automatically route jobs with placeholders present at the time of document completion to QA.
  
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Update Account.
• Voila!
