DSS Completed Time Explained
Overview
On most professional models of Olympus recorders, the audio files (DSS/DS2) will be tagged with the date and time that the dictation was created. This tag can be read into the InfraWare platfrom when the audio files are uploaded thru the InfraWare Dictatoin Client (IDC). This date/time tag can be useful for MTSO's and Facility users to know when a dictation was actually created, in relation to when it was submitted via the IDC.
Solution
NOTE: For accuracy, it is important that the date and time is set correctly on the Olympus recorder first. If it is not configured correctly, the resulting data will be incorrect.
The DSS Completed Time can be utilized two ways:
- The DSS Completed Time can be viewed in the IMC Queue, either by adding it as a column in your Saved Search, or using the Choose Columns link
- The DSS Completed Time can be populated in a template in the ITE by adding the appropriate Field
