What does the "Templated" column mean on the First Draft Authors pages? |
Answer / Solution |
Templated Column ExplainedOverviewEvery Document Type uses a Template, and this Document Type is said to be “Templated” for First Draft if its template contains First Draft fields. It is important to have the templates First Draft enabled before sending a job through speech recognition because otherwise the system will probably not put the First Draft output where you want it to go. Therefore a Document Type must be “Templated” before it can be turned on for First Draft.
Every Author could dictate for multiple Document Types, and most of the time many of these can be enabled for First Draft. On the Authors page under the First Draft tab in the IMC, the “Templated” column lists how many of these Document Types’ templates are ready to go for First Draft. Once you open the Author Details page, you’ll see a list of all of the Document Types. Here the Templated column just says Yes or No to indicate whether or not the Template associated with that Document Type is First Draft enabled. |
