How to Tell When a Stat or Urgent Job Arrives in ITC

Summary:

In the ITC, new jobs to be worked are typically downloaded in the background while a transcriptionist or editor is actively working on the current job.  It can be important to know when a new job arrives that deserves priority. The ITC provides a feature to alert the user with an audible tone when either a Stat or Urgent jobs arrives.

Tasks:

To change your preferences in the General User Settings screen, just follow the quick, easy steps below: 

• From the ITC Main Window:  Select the Settings menu ⇒ User Settings option ⇒ Edit User Settings or Keyboard Shortcut F10.
• From the Editor:  Select the Tools menu ⇒ Options ⇒ User Settings

On the General tab, check or uncheck the boxes labeled:

• Audible Alert for STAT jobs
• Audible Alert for Urgent jobs
