Releasing a Job Pending Addendum
Summary
A job which has been marked as Awaiting an Addendum receives a job status of Addendum Pending. The platform holds the job in that status until the remainder of the dictation is available on the platform to be combined to the original addendum. See KB244 for details on this workflow. In some cases, a job is marked as Awaiting an Addendum but the rest of that dictation is not done in a timely manner and you may wish to process the initial job and make it available to the Customer. This article outlines the steps for an Account Admin or Manager to make this change. This change cannot be done in the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC).
Requirements
- InfraWare Management Console (IMC) Users with access to the Queue page.
Steps
- In the IMC go to the Queue Tab ⇒ Admin Queue subtab.
- Locate the job by searching for the Job Number or by Job Status = Pending Addendum.
- Check the box next to the Job Number and go to More Actions ⇒ Return to Transcription.
- A new window will open.
- You can enter a Reason, but this is not required.
- Assign to a specific Transcriptionist or Pool, if desired. The default is Unassigned, which will make the job available to anyone with Access Rights to that job.
- Click Submit. This will make the job available in the ITC, where it can be downloaded, opened, and Marked Complete.
