Multiple Styles in the ITE
Summary
A Style is a collection of formatting instructions for a template which are used to format paragraphs in a document. The default Style generated by the ITE is "[Normal]". When there are multiple styles in a template this may be a result of copying and pasting from Microsoft Word, with the Style "Normal" (without the brackets). Multiple styles in a template can cause unexpected results with formatting. The ITE will now check a template when it is uploaded to the platform. If multiple Styles are detected a warning will present with 2 options:
- Yes (Recommended) - The ITE will remove extra Styles.
- Formatting on the template will not be changed.
- It is still possible to have multiple fonts and font sizes with a template.
- No, I need multiple Styles - The template will be submitted to the platform and extra Styles will be left on the document.
Requirements
- ITE Beta version 6.1.17.6 or newer.
