Renaming a Document Type

At times, you will need to rename a document type name on the platform. This can be required if something changes at the facility or if there is some kind of typo entered during the initial entry of the document type name.  The following steps will allow you to edit a current document type name without losing any First Draft models or changing anything in the current workflow.

Steps

In the IMC, go through the following steps:

• Click on Document Config Tab ⇒ Document Types sub-tab.
  
• Set the Facility Filter for the facility under which the document type is located
• Click on the actual document type name
• Edit the "Description".
  • You may also edit other attributes of the document type if needed.
• Press "Save" at the bottom of the screen
