How do I manage Account-specific Holidays to be used for TAT calculation?

Answer / Solution

Custom Account-specific TAT Holidays Explained

Summary

Administrators on the InfraWare 360 platform can define Account-specific Holidays at the Account level, which can then be used at the Facility and Document Type levels for Active TAT Clock exceptions. Active TAT Clock Hours tell the platform during what days of the week and hours of the day the TAT clock will be counting.  See KB841 for details on managing Active TAT Clock Hours for a Document Type and KB840 for details on how to set default TAT at the Facility level.

Steps

This feature is currently only available in ITC Beta:  https://beta.infraware.com/IMC

  • Login to the InfraWare Management Console (IMC) Beta using your IW Administrator username and password.
  • Navigate to the Administration tab ⇒ Account Settings.
  • Select the Advanced option and scroll down to the Transcription section to find "Custom Turn Around Time Holidays."
  • Click the »Manage link.  A popup window will open with options as detailed below.
  • Create New Holiday:
    • Select the appropriate radio button to Create New Holiday.
    • Add a name for the new holiday.
    • Click the Create Holiday button.
    • The Manage Existing Holidays window will then load with options as described below.
  • Manage Existing Holidays:  This screen will be used to create new holidays and manage existing holidays. Options include the following actions:
    • Select a holiday from the drop-down menu.
      • To delete the selected holiday click on the Delete this Holiday link just below.
    • Enter a date for the New Holiday.  Click the holiday icon to load the calendar popup.
    • Click the Add button.
      • Multiple dates can be applied to one Account-specific Holiday.  Repeat the steps above to add additional dates which should be considered as part of this holiday.
    • Existing Dates:  A full list of dates which have been applied as part of this holiday will be listed in this section.  Click Remove to remove dates from this Account-specific holiday.  In the screenshot below you can see that 09/01/2015 and 10/06/2015 have been specified as the dates to observe "Super Tuesday."
    • Changes are automatically Saved, so you can close the window by clicking the X in the upper right corner of the popup window.

Note:

  • Account-specific holidays do not automatically repeat from year to year.  They must be defined for each year.
