Pay Calculations for First Draft Jobs Worked by Multiple MT's

Overview

When a First Draft job is worked by more than one Transcriptionist using the Save without Advancing Feature (KB245) the Pay Calculations are done once the job moves out of Transcription Status. This article describes how those metrics are calculated for First Draft Jobs.

Summary

There is a 'key' revision that is important for calculating metrics.  The key revision is the one that moves the job out of the transcription status (to QA, eSign, or Complete Status).  In the first step the metrics for the key revision are calculated.  After the key revision is computed metrics for all prior revisions are computed.  A ratio is computed for each revision. 

• Total Seconds:  The total number of seconds spent working the job in all revisions up to and including the key revision. 
• Revision Seconds:  The number of seconds spent working on every revision up to and including the current revision. 
• Ratio:  The Ratio is (Revision Seconds) / (Total Seconds). 
• Partial Metrics:  Computed Metrics times the Ratio.

When the pay report runs the metrics would show:

• Anna (Revision 1 plus Revision 3 metrics) = 63.8
• Beth (Revision 2) = 22
• Charlie (Revision 4) = 34.2
