What do the parameters of the Discarded Draft Report mean?

Answer / Solution

Discarded Draft Report Parameters Explained

The Discarded Draft Report returns results for missed First Draft Opportunities based on Workflow Rules and also when the draft is discarded by an MT in the ITC.  For a description on how to interpret the Discarded Drafts Report, see KB737

Parameters

  • Dates:  Choose a Start Date and End Date for which you would like to evaluate discarded drafts for your Account.  Results will be returned based on the date the draft was discarded.
  • Time Zone:  Choose the time zone to be used for the selected Start and End Dates.  Check the Daylight Savings box to observe Daylight Savings with your Time Zone selection.
  • MT:  The MT setting will let you narrow down the report to hone in on one particular MT, or look at all of them to search for potential issues.
  • The “Group by” and “Then by” parameters specify how the data is oriented. The “Group by” field will be the column that is to the far left, and will be the highest level of aggregation. The “Then by” column will be the 2nd most from the left, and the 2nd level of aggregation. Whichever object you are most interested in analyzing (Author, MT, Doc Type, Facility, Manager) should probably be in the “Group by” field.
  • Display:  The Display option allows you to choose whether you would like to evaluate drafts by specific scenarios by which a draft can be discarded: See KB737 for details on each.

      • The Transcriptionist manually discards the draft with Alt + D in the ITC - KB573

    • All missed opportunities - All of the above scenarios will be included in the report results returned.
