Auto-Open Next Job Feature Explained

Overview

The Auto-Open Next Job feature allows a transcriptionist to decide whether or not the next job on the list will automatically open once a job has been marked as complete. 

Before You Begin

You will need the following before you begin:

• ITC version 6.1.1.22 or later installed.

Tasks

To set this Option:

• Log in to the ITC v6.1.1.22 or later.
• Open the Edit User Settings Window:
  • From the Main Window:  Press F10 or navigate to Settings ⇒ User Settings ⇒ Edit User Settings.
  • From the ITC Editor:  Navigate to the Tools menu ⇒ Options ⇒ User Settings
• User the Right Arrow key or click on the Editor Tab.  The options for this feature are located at the bottom of the Editor Tab.

Options include the following:

• Off:  Nothing will happen when a job is completed.  This is the default.
• Prompt:  Yes or No option will show after completing the job submission process for the Transcriptionist to choose whether the next job on the list should open.
• Automatic:  After marking a job as Complete the next job will automatically open.
