Video Playback Support Explained

Overview

Video Playback in the ITC allows you to play audio and video in the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC).  This is great to use for interviews, meetings, legal proceedings, etc..  A new window will allow the transcriptionist to view the video and control playback with the foot pedal while transcribing the audio.  The user experience will be similar to the normal audio transcription experience in the ITC.

Before You Begin

• ITC version must be Gen 6 or later
• Video must have been uploaded using IDC version 4.2.8.2 (IDC Beta) or later
• Video(s) must be in a .wmv format
  

Note:  Since video files have a larger file size, upload (IDC) and Download (ITC) will take longer.  Slower internet connections will have trouble with both functions.
