In the InfraWare 360 platform, users are identified by an email address (serving as their user ID) and password.  When Administrators create new users, they name them with an email address. 

Q: Must the email address be real? 

A: It is best to use a valid email address for the user so all platform features can work properly.  However, when a valid email address is not available, it is supported to use a "fake" address.  When doing so, be sure to use an address at your own domain rather than one that could possibly be in use by someone else (@gmail, @aol, etc.) and check the option next to "E-Mail Address is not real," as shown in the screenshot below.
