How to Add a QA Requirement for a Transcriptionist

Overview

InfraWare 360 allows Admins to set automatic QA routing by several criteria for flexibility. You may route all jobs or a fraction. You may set routing requirements based on:

1. Dictating author
2. Transcriptionist to whom the job is routed
3. Document category or type.

To avoid redundancy and confusion, we recommend that you choose a single routing criteria for Quality Analysis.  Most Admins prefer to add a QA requirement based on the Transcriptionist who transcribed the job.

Requirement

• Administrative login for the InfraWare Management Console (IMC)

Steps

• Admins may set automatic routing to QA based on who transcribed the report by selecting Transcriptionist Settings for the desired Transcriptionist. This can be done in two ways:
  • From Administration tab ⇒ Users subtab:
    • Click the pencil icon next to the user's name, or click on the User name and then choose "Transcriptionist Settings" found midway down the screen.
    • Click the Manage» link next to "QA settings for this MT" in the "Basic Settings" section.  
      
    • This will open the "QA Requirement for Transcriptionist" page for the selected Transcriptionist as a popup window.
      
  • From the Workflow Tab ⇒ QA Management subtab: 
    • Scroll down to the Transcriptionists section and click the Manage» link.
      
    • To create  new rule select the Transcriptionist from the drop-down menu under New QA Requirement:
      
    • This will open the "QA Requirement for Transcriptionist" page for the selected Transcriptionist.
  • By default, the None option is selected and no work will automatically route to QA for an Transcriptionist.
    
  • To route work automatically to QA for this Transcriptionist select who will be conducting the QA (a specific account user or a pool) by selecting the appropriate option and then choosing from the drop-down menu.  This will route all jobs transcribed by an Transcriptionist to QA automatically, and make them available to the selected user/pool.
    
  • If only a fraction of the jobs needs to be sent to QA, select the box beside Use QA Sampling Percentage and enter the appropriate fraction.  This option can be used if you do not need all work to automatically route to QA, but you need to set a specific QA person or pool to have access to work by that Transcriptionist. In the example below, 1 of every 500,000 jobs transcribed by this Transcriptionist will automatically route to QA.
    
  • Press Save to commit your changes to the platform.
  • To manage an existing QA Requirements for Transcriptionists click the Edit link next to the name. This will load the QA Requirement for Transcriptionist page.
