How to Reset a Password

Overview

• Admins can reset passwords for their users.
• Admins can force a password reset for users on their next login.
• Individual users may also reset their own passwords.

Admin - Reset Password for a Specific User

Login using your InfraWare Administrator username and Password:

• Click on the Administration tab
• Click on the Users Sub-tab
• Select the user for the password change and click on the name of the user.
• Go to the 'User Actions' section and select 'Reset' next to the label Password.
  
• A page will open that provides fields to type and verify the new password. The security parameters for acceptable passwords will be visible on this page.
  
• Once you have typed and verified the password, press "Save password".

Admin - Force Password Change for a User

Login using your InfraWare Administrator username and Password:

Change Your Password

To change your own password in the InfraWare 360 platform:

• Go to the Tasks page.
• Select 'Change my password or email address'.
• This will open an Edit user information page where you will enter the current password as well as type and verify the new password.
• Once you have typed and verified the password, press 'Submit Changes'.
