ITC 2009 Installation Overview
The InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC) makes use of Microsoft ClickOnce deployment technology for installation. ClickOnce application can be installed by non-administrator Windows users as long as the system requirements are met. The installation begins by running setup.exe, which will download from https://downloads.infraware.com, check system requirements, and then download and perform the actual installation. This installation takes place under the logged in user’s Windows profile, which means that each Windows user on a given a machine will install the application separately.

ITC 2009 Installation Steps
This guide will walk you through the steps for installing the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC).
- Go to the IMC Software Tab and click "Install ITC 2009"
What Happens Here: This will tell your browser to begin downloading the setup.exe
- Click "Run" on the security popup window
What Happens Here: This is where you will tell your browser to run the setup.exe once it is downloaded to your computer.
If this dialog does not appear click HERE to troubleshoot the problem.
- Click "Run"
What Happens Here: This is a standard confirmation dialog for ClickOnce applications.
If this dialog does not appear click HERE to troubleshoot the problem.
- Allow the download to complete
What Happens Here: The browser downloads setup.exe
If this dialog does not appear click HERE to troubleshoot the problem
- (Optional Step) Accept any missing system requirements for your system
What Happens Here: If you are lacking any system requirements then the installation will indicate the deficiencies and attempt to install them.
If you receive an error message while installing these requirements, click HERE to troubleshoot the problem.
- Allow installation to verify application requirements
What Happens Here: The installation is verifying the installation files.
If this dialog does not appear click HERE to troubleshoot the problem.
- Click "Install" to begin the installation
What Happens Here: The installation will now verify that you would like to proceed
If this dialog does not appear and the installation does not proceed, click HERE to troubleshoot the problem. Note: This screen may not appear if you already have a version of the ITC installed on your system.
- Allow installation to complete
What Happens Here: The ITC files will now be downloaded and installed under the logged in user's Windows profile.
If this dialog does not appear and the installation does not proceed, reboot your computer and attempt the install again. If you continue to have issues after the reboot click HERE to troubleshoot the problem.
- Installation is complete
What Happens Here: The ITC installation is complete and will now launch the ITC.
If you received an error message, click HERE to troubleshoot the problem.
