Can I restrict Global Documents to just the Open Job's Facility? |
Answer / Solution |
This article gives an overview of the setup necessary to restrict access to global document based on a job's facility. In the IMC, on the Transcriptionist Settings page for a MT, you will want to mark the "Restrict Global Documents to Open Job's Facility" checkbox. This will ensure that the MT is not able to open up any global documents if they do not have a job open in the ITC. If they have a job open in the ITC and this box is checked on their transcriptionist settings page, they will only be able to open the global documents for the facility of the job that is open. Jump to the Users page >> where you can select a Transcriptionist and review settings. When an MT has the "Restrict Global Documents to Open Job's Facility" checked on their setting page and they try to open the Global documents in the ITC without having a job open, they will receive this Access Denied warning message.
When an MT has the "Restrict Global Documents to Open Job's Facility" checked on their setting page and they try to open the Global documents in the ITC while having a job open in their ITC, they will receive this screen. Notice that they are only able to see the account level global documents and the global documents for the particular facility of their current job. |
