How to copy a platform user

Overview

The InfraWare 360 platform allows InfraWare Administrators to save time in creating new users.  The Infraware Administrator can copy one user with a specific role, (MT, Author, Fac Admin) and create a new user with the same role using the copy feature.

Tasks

• Login to the InfraWare Management Console (IMC) using your IW Administrator username and password
• Select the Administration Tab --> Users sub-tab
• Select the role of the user that you would like to copy under Filter By

Jump to the Users page >>

• Scroll down to the user you would like to copy and place a checkmark next to the name

• Select Copy Selected User

• Fill in the appropriate fields with the new user's email login, full name and InfraWare platform
• Click Save User

• The new user will have the same role(s) and settings of the original user it was copied from.
• Add additional settings as necessary by selecting the new user's name from the list to open their user settings and review
