First Draft: Document Identification Queue Explained

Overview

Some authors who are enabled for First Draft fail to select the correct Document Type at the time of dictation.  The InfraWare 360 platform allows for InfraWare Administrators to send those jobs to the Document Identification Queue so that the correct Document Type can be selected BEFORE being processed by First Draft. This knowledge base article describes how to access the Document Identification Queue and select the correct document type for the job and send the job to First Draft Processing. 

 Tasks

• Login to the IMC using your Administrator Username and Password
• Select the Queue tab --> Document Identification Queue Subtab

• This opens the Specify Document Type and Release Job Window
• Use the Facility filter to display jobs from a specific facility
• Use the Author filter to then display jobs from a specific author
• The number of jobs in queue per the selected criteria will be displayed

• The first job available is displayed
  • Play: Click on First 30 Seconds or Full Audio to download and listen to the audio to determine the proper document type
  • Select the Author from the drop-down menu
  • Select the Facility from the drop-down menu
  • Select the Document Category from the drop-down menu
  • Select the Document Type from the drop-down menu
  • Select Apply Document type --> This will send the job for First Draft Processing
  • If you are not ready to select the document type, click the Skip button
• The next job available will be displayed and repeat the steps above

Notes

• A time limit can be set for how long jobs remain in the Document Identification Queue before going to First Draft and/or before going to Transcription.  Please see Knowledge Base article KB425 for more information. 
• Administrators who use the Document Identification Queue have access to all jobs in the Document Identification Queue.
