Authors:  Add TDS Authorization for a New Custom Number

Summary

When your new TDS phone number for your account becomes available, it is now time to add a TDS authorization for each author who will be using that number.  

Tasks

• Login to the IMC using your Administrator Username and password
• Click on the Administration tab, Users sub-tab
• Click on the Author you would like to edit/add TDS authorization
• Scroll down and select Author Settings

• Click the Add TDS Authorization » link:
  

• From the drop-down menu, select your custom TDS number
• Enter a unique login and PIN
  • On a custom TDS number, both the login and PIN must match.  This allows the Author to only have to enter in one number at the time of dictating.
  • If no PIN is required this field will be disabled.
• Feedback Tones:  Select from the choices provided.  See KB255 for more information on TDS Feedback tones.

• Click the Save button when done. 
• Your TDS user settings should look similar to this:

• Then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
