How to Record Into (insert) a Dictation in the IDC

Solution

1. Open the dictation (double-click it).  

2. Once the recording is open that you wish to edit, go to the playback area of the screen.

3. Play your recording back to find the place that you wish to insert an additional recording, or you may choose to record at the end of an existing recording.

4. Speak into your microphone. See Tips For Successful Dictation Recording.

5. Click the Playback icons to Play, Stop, Rewind, or Fast Forward your recording. You may listen to your recording when you are done by simply rewinding the recording and pressing the Play button.
