How can I specify whether a Facility observes Daylight Savings Time?

Answer / Solution

Facility:  Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time (DST) is a time zone setting that affects whether people in that time zone change their clocks twice per year.  Government entities regulate time under their jurisdiction, and many require DST.  If unsure about a particular facility, you can either research the area or you can simply ask a resident if they change their time each spring and Fall.  To enable DST for the time zone settings for a particular Facility, navigate to the Facility Settings page and check the Observer Daylight Savings time box below.  Uncheck to disable.
