Force a Password Change for an InfraWare User

Solution

The InfraWare 360 platform allows the InfraWare Administrator to force a user to change their password to further enhance security measures.  

Tasks

Login using your InfraWare Administrator username and Password

  • Click on the Administration tab
  • Click on the Users Sub-tab
  • Select the user for the password change and click on the name of the user.
  • Place a checkmark next to Force Password Change on next Login:

  • This will remain checked until the next time the user logs in to the platform either through the ITC, IMC or the Secure Web Portal.
  • During that next login, they will be prompted to enter their current password and to change their password to a new one.
