Answer / Solution

Attach Addendums to Jobs of Different Authors of the Same Facility

Summary

InfraWare 360 platform has a facility setting to allow MTs to attach an addendum to a job dictated by a different author from the same facility.

To Turn on this Feature (allow MTs to do so):

Tasks

  • Login to the IMC with your Administrator Login and Password
  • Click on the Administration tab, Facilities Sub-tab
  • Click on the name of the Facility you would like to edit
  • Scroll down to the Transcription section to find "Allow Addendums across different Authors"
  • Place a checkmark next to this setting.
  • Click Save Changes

To use this feature in the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC):

With a job open in the ITC editor:

If you KNOW the Author's name:

  • Click File --> Attach as Addendum (Ctrl+Shift+X).
  • Under Search Author:
    • Choose Current to access the current author's jobs available for addendum.
    • Choose Other and type in the name of the author to search for jobs by other authors in the same facility available for addendum.
    • Click Search.
  • Locate the job to attach the addendum and click "Mark as Addendum".

If you DO NOT know the Author's name:

  • Choose Other and leave that field blank.
  • Type in the Job Number, Job Subject, or Patient Name.
  • Click Search.
  • Locate the job to attach the addendum and click "Mark as Addendum".
