How to Manage the Address Book (CC Physician List) in the IMC
Overview
InfraWare 360 supports an Address Book feature for referring physicians and other contacts. The Address Book entries are managed in the InfraWare Management Console (IMC). During transcription, Address Book entries are available from the Address Book button in the ITC Editor.
Requirements
You will need the following before you begin:
Steps
- Log in to the IMC at www.InfraWare.com/IMC.
- Select the Delivery tab ⇒ Address Book subtab.
- To enter a new Address Book entry:
- Using the drop-down menu, choose the Facility the Address Book entry is to be associated with and click New. See KB809 for details on Preferred Facilities.
- Enter the name, address and other information for that contact.
- Enter any notes you may have regarding this address book entry in the Notes section.
- Choose visibility: All address book entries are automatically visible to all Account role users (Admins, Managers, Transcriptionists). Visibility applies to Facilities user roles (Author, Facility Admin). This can be helpful when an MTSO is maintaining lists of referring physicians for multiple facilities. Administrators can choose to have the facility users view only those addresses for their facility or view all addresses in the database. See KB142 for details.
- When finished, click Save or Save and Add Another if you have more address book entries.
- To retrieve/edit an Address Book Entry from the IMC:
- Go to the Address Book screen.
- You may wish to filter based on Facility using the drop-down menu at the top of the screen. See KB809 for details on Preferred Facilities.
- Enter the lookup criteria for Name, Organization, City, or Fax and click Apply.
- Click on the link in the Name column to open that Address Book entry.
- At the bottom of the page, click Modify.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save.
- To delete an Address Book entry from the IMC:
- Go to the Address Book screen.
- You may wish to filter based on Facility using the drop-down menu at the top of the screen. See KB809 for details on Preferred Facilities.
- Enter the lookup criteria for Name, Organization, City, or Fax and click Apply.
- Click the Delete link in the Remove column for the Address Book entry you wish to delete.
- Click OK to confirm your choice or Cancel to go back to the Address Book page.
