How to Manage the Address Book

Overview

InfraWare 360 supports an Address Book feature for referring physicians and other contacts.  The Address Book entries are managed in the InfraWare Management Console (IMC).  There is an Address Book tab under the Delivery tab for this purpose.

Solution

Once the Address Book is populated with entries, Transcriptionists can view and insert those entries from the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC).  There is an Address Book button on the button-bar of the ITC Editor window.  When searching, the transcriptionist can narrow the list of entries by specifying filters such as last name, city and others.

Visibility

Address Book entries have a permissions attribute called visibility.  Each entry is available to all MTs.  In addition, entries can be flagged to be visible to either all facility users or only to users of certain facilities.
