How do Billing Models work?

Answer / Solution

Billing Models Explained

Overview

Billing Models in the InfraWare 360 transcription platform allow customers to establish custom unit definitions for each facility and custom rates for those units.

Solution

On the Administration/Billing Models tab, create a Unit Definition that describes, for example, what constitutes a line.  Then, create a Billing Model and establish a billing rate for that Unit Definition.

Apply that new Billing Model to each applicable Facility by clicking a facility name on the Administration/Facilities tab.  Near the bottom, select the appropriate Billing Model where prompted.  After doing so, that Billing Model will be used as the default for that Facility for Billing Reports.
