Welcome to the InfraWare Telephone Dictation (TDS). The following introduction will help familiarize you with the TDS and will demonstrate just how easy it is to use. This article demonstrates the standard TDS configuration. It might not apply to your environment if you have a customized configuration.
The InfraWare Telephone Dictation System (TDS) is a Quick, Easy-to-Use method for dictating. You may use any land-line based telephone to call into the TDS. Below is an overview of the TDS and what prompts to expect when you call. Solution · You will first hear the Welcome Message followed by a request to:
Enter requested Log-in ID followed by the # key
Enter requested PIN number followed by the # key
· You will then hear the following menu options:
1. Press 1 to Record a New Dictation
a. Enter a Patient or Reference Number followed by the # key
b. Enter a Document Type followed by the # key
2. Press 2 to Resume a Saved Dictation
a. Press 1 to Go To the Previous Dictation b. Press 2 to Resume a Saved Dictation
c. Press 3 to Go To the Next Dictation
3. Press 3 to Perform Training
a. Press 1 to train
i. Enter Training Session Script ID – found on Training Session Script Document. As soon as you enter your Training Session Script ID you will be able to immediately begin recording your training script.
ii. Use the InfraWare Telephone Dictation Legend, found on the next page, for the keypad commands.
4. Press * to Quit
