How to Disable Printing from the ITC

Summary

InfraWare 360 platform allows medical transcriptionists to print a job from the ITC to their home printer.  An InfraWare administrator can disable this feature as a measure to further protecting patient health information (PHI) so that no PHI is in the MTs possession. 

Task

To Disable Printing in the ITC:

• Log in to the InfraWare Management Console (IMC) with your Administrator Username and Password
• Select the Administration tab --> Users Sub-tab.
• Locate the MT you would like to edit and click on the pencil to open the transcriptionist user settings
• Place a checkmark next to "Disable Printing in ITC"
• Click Save All at the bottom of the page.
